Big Catfish - Fake Claims

I just posted a picture and note about a big cat that was sent to me in email -
I received it four times in the past two days. It claims a 140 pound cat was
caught in Patula Creek on Lake Eufaula - but the cat does not look like any
Georgia or US cat I have ever seen. I checked it out - probalby a Wels caught
in Europe. This email has been making the rounds, claiming it was caught on a
bunch of different US lakes.

I've had that (very same) photo for over 6 years Ronnie,, it is from
Spain, I had all the particulars on it somewhere, I would have to look it up

That's a Wels Cat, Ronnie. I have seen that same picture in a couple of
books that I have on Sportfishing in Europe.
