I ordered some stuff from ezflyfish, and it came (thanks!) with a
half-dozen trout catchin' flies, as advertised.
However, from what I've read here, I thought it prudent to carefully
examine each fly (though none are Humpies) for the presence of a hook.
I found that each fly is equipped with a hook. The barbs and eyes were
an unadvertised bonus.

I would check for those microscopic cuts. He now has a process that will go
right through the hook and you'll never notice it.

My guess is that the hooks are cut in two under the thread wraps.
