Hi Tony,
There are tons of gurgler patterns out there, one source would be
flyanglersonline.com and look at their list of bugs (archives)
Two weeks ago I caught a 3 lb bass on a deer hair pattern called "Gerbubble
Bug", these must simulate a little bird or something because the bass just
love 'em...back a long time ago before deer hair patterns became popular,
these were made of balsa (I believe) Lately, foam gurgler patterns have
become very popular, in all sizes from bluegill to bass. They are very
effective, have fun and tie up a bunch. FWIW

As I read your post, I began to hate Jennifer. I thought, **** this woman has caught
a 3lb. bass (somethin' I've never done) and learned more about fly patterns in a few
months than I have in the last 8 years! Thankfully, I read the post in its entirety!
You gonna be up thru Monday, Frank? Love to fish with the two of ya Sunday or Mon.
