Whidbey Island Fly Fishing Club presents:
Nov 4th, Thursday, 7:00 pm, Race Rd Fire House
Ed Smith, tyer, promoter and efficienado of the "Liquid Lace" (LL)
phenominon will be doing a live demonstration, answering questions and
showing us his "stuff".
Note: his LL Damsel Nymph is just short of dynamite with Chironomid patterns
being one of his specialties
Ed is a resident of Kamloops, BC, a professional fly tyer, a materials
wholesaler to Canadian as well as US shops and a gentleman fly fisherman
extraordinaire.....
Ed is a familiar face at all the Western Fly Fishing shows and his booth is
routinely crowded and hard to get at, he's pretty popular, watch him tie on
the big screen, (not a bad seat in the house)
Ed has been commisioned by the Federation to do a show somewhere in Oregon,
he's stopping by on his way down to do this "Evening with Ed" as a personal
gesture..
He is a joy to watch, his patterns are easily understood and master, so
surely you will not only learn a pattern or two, but many techniques to
boot.
This is a must see "show" of shows.
