(I'm early, so sue me) :)

The Great Fly Swap of 2005 sign-up and some "rules" to keep me sane (or
what passes for sanity anyway)

Sign up begins today and ends Jan 15th.

Your flies *must* be in to me not later than Feb. 15th...NO EXTENSIONS!!
I have to begin packing to move after the 15th and won't have time to
deal with late coming boxes. Get 'em in on time or no return flies!

As in the past there is no "theme" to this swap, tie whatever pattern you
decide on, however shark dries will be frowned on. :)

There is no maximum number of tyers set, hopefully this will be self
limiting to a reasonable number, not to exceed 50 I hope.

1. DON'T SEND ME YOUR PERSONAL FLY BOX!! A VCR box is perfect.

2. Please let me know the pattern you decide on as soon as you can.
(other folks may not want to duplicate it)

3. Tag all your flies with your name and pattern.

4. Please don't use those little paper tags with the strings attached.
(by the time I get them, they are all tangled up)

5. DON'T SEND ME YOUR PERSONAL FLY BOX!! A VCR box is perfect.

6. For US tyers, the USPS priority mail boxes are just the right
size..tip-> put your flies in a baggie..they will survive the trip.

7. If you want your swap flies returned, then include postage ($3.85 for
priority mail if you decide to go that route)

8. Roffians outside the US do the best you can with the shipping and
return postage, and a legible return address label is nice.

9. Did I mention..DON'T SEND ME YOUR PERSONAL FLY BOX!! A VCR box is
perfect.

10. If you honestly don't think you can get your flies in to me in the
alloted time, please don't sign up.

I hope that the number does not exceed 50 and I have not missed the great
swap this millennia so count me in for a #14 or #16 sulfur.
