Hilton Head help

Looking for advice on Hilton Head. We are going for a week starting June 4.
My dad and I want to do some fishing while we're there. We don't have any
sal****er gear we usually fish for Bass, Walleye, and Crappie. I guess we
will get a guide for at least one day. From what I've read there are a
couple ways to go (inner shore, near shore, outer shore). What do you
recommend? I hear there are cannals on the Island. Can these be fished with
fresh water gear? Is there access to them or is all the access on private
property. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I can help you out....I live in SC, and have fished some around Hilton
