wouldn't mind reading a story or two of some good fishing trips.
was told a story the other day of a trip south east of albany w.a. where 6
saddleback, about 2 dozen nannygi, 10 pinkies were caught. they were fishing
in about 200 meters of water. good to hear that this kind of fishing is
still possible.
might try to get some photo's of there trip to post.

Went on a charter last weekend, spent most of saturday whipping in golden
snapper, jewies, tricky snapper, cod, bluebone etc plus the usual rubbish of
spanish flag, sweetlip, moonies etc and still found time to land a 14kg mack
on a live flag.

Sunday was spent chasing red emperor and coral trout, but being ruined by
sharks all day. Well the sharks were there because of the large numbers of
baitfish, so we spent an hour or so trolling up tuna until we got sick of
that, headed back onto the reef and finally managed a 3kg emperor, then
finished the evening off with squid, jewies and goldies, plus my old man
landed a nice cobia which was being attacked by a sea snake while I was
sinking the gaff!!!

A good weekend of fishing at last.

Left from Darwin on Friday arvo and steamed down past the Perons to Cape
Ford, then cruised on back with Sunday fishing wide off the Perons and
Sunday night at Point Blaze. Took the cobia at Blaze.
