Yep, Upper Creek was most beautiful yesterday! I stopped by and saw Greg on
my way to and from Upper. He'll be hang'in with the little brown girls down
Panama way for a while. He seems to be doin' well and asked about ya. I
told him last I heard that you were going to fish the GTT to the Falls with
me, but I couldn't tell him when?
Love,

So sorry I couldn't meet up with you back in the Summer, as I said I would.
I expect to have surgery sometime in the near future, as my back isn't going
to get any better on its own, according to the doctors anyway?
Take care,
Mark --one day closer to Spring!--

Heck...i thought it was when you said you were going to come down from
the mountain and do a bit of salt marsh or shad fishing with me... but,
i think the GTT trek sounds like a promising adventure for mid april
perhaps? i'd like to arrange a latin american fishing trip with
greg...we ought to get wally and a few others together and see if we
can't convince greg to lead a few merry pranksters south of the border,
eh? i assume NSA won't be watching or listening..

Sadly, as I can't afford to get off the mountain to fish the salt marsh with
you, I know that *I* am not likely to ever make it back to Latin America
ever again. Ecuador was my swan song :~^(
As to the NSA, Greg assures me that they are watching me. How he knows, I
couldn't say, but he seemed certain. I guess Tom B. could have gotten word
of those nasty e-mails that I sent Klinton back during the Balkans and
Rwanda period of his discontent. What's really sad, is that someone might
actually think my exciting life would be worth trackin'?
Seriously, a salt water excursion sounds great, as does a GTT to Falls trip!
Take care and HAPPY HOLIDAYS, (yes I wrote HH on purpose)

Man, I thought we were talking senoritas and palm trees. Tell me, do they
still shoot hippies where you're going?

guatamala... or costa rica... or cuba... nah, but i've heard they can
be a bit tough on amuriKans. bob and i were just toying with you. Greg
is reported to be very experienced in sal****er fishing in latin
america, south america, and cuba. judging by his nature when we stay at
his campground in morganton, i've no doubt he'd be an excellent
guide...as long as we can keep him focused on the fishin and not the
fu****g.

Yeah, he ran the boat.
Though he probably did fish, back in the day, I think his fishing
excursions, these days, are limited to affairs of the groin.

I'm hopin' he'll bring a little brown girl back for me, when he returns!
I'm heading up to the property to see if I can get the biggest buck I have
ever seen to pose for a snap shot. Saw him yesterday, but I had the Bear
with me, so I couldn't get a pic.
