I don't know how or why, it's only a single bottle of booze after all,
but that damn Tar Heel has somehow managed to bribe the sports book
again this year. The powder blue pussies are 18 (eighteen, EIGHTEEN !!)
point underdogs to the Wolfpack of N.C. State.

Meanwhile, the so-called football team that dresses in the uniforms
of the Fighting Illini are 2.5 point underdogs to the **** 'Em Bucky
Badgers of the University of Wisconsin who inexplicably failed to
beat the powder blue pussies last week by enough points to cover
Wayno's crooked spread.

It's a conspiracy, I tell ya. ;-)

Losing by less than a field goal, at home, in the Big 10 opener ?

Yeah, the Illini can do that. Hell, the Bucky Badgers couldn't even
beat the spread against the Tar Heels fer cryin' out loud. ;-)

Yeah, yeah, don't push your luck, the official line published in this
morning's Trib is still 18. Sheesh, what some people won't do for a
bottle of booze. ;-)

In a dramatic and tense battle between league leaders, the 23rd
ranked Badgers of Wisconsin defeated the Fighting Illini in a
very close contest .... of volleyball. On the gridiron the Illini
got their sorry arses kicked but good.

And so did the Tar Heels, but once again they "miraculously"
(yeah, right, see the title of this thread) managed to beat the
spread.

So, for the season;

Forty's Fighting Illini - 1
Wayno's Tar Heels - 2
