Anyone have experience with wading boots which have chageable soles?
Specifically Korkers "Konvertible Outiftter" boots have good reviews
(see thier website and www.westfly.com). They sound great, but I
figure there must be a catch.

As usual, all comments are appreciated.

I bought a pair of the Korkers and am happy with them. The 3M nubby tack
stuff that is in the middle of the sole came off with in a week of each
pair of soles. I contacted Korkers about this and they said that they
found that portion the the sole conection really did not serve any
purpose, so they were going to quit using it. They did say that they
would replace my soles if I wanted them to. I figured what's the point
if it doesn't serve any purpose and is going to fall off again in no
time. Other than that, I really happy with them, it would really take
some work for the soles to fall of in mid stream.

I understand that interchangeable soles give you somewhat less contact
surface with the stream bed
