My guess is that Greg had a backup reel for which he somehow lost or
damaged the spool, and has decided that he only needs a spare spool, not
a whole spare reel, so rather than buy a new spool, he'll try to trade
for it. On the other hand, lots of folks have a reel with several spare
spools, one of which they might want to get rid of in order to have a
backup reel. He might just find a match.
