Well, if I were the Sox manager, I'd start Pedro tonight on short rest with
Burkitt ready for long relief, if needed. If that worked, then Wakefield would
start tomorrow.

I actually managed to get the 9th inning on some rogue signal that came in
last night at 2am. It was soooo great to tune in and see the Sox alive!!

I must admit, I was a bit surprised to see Little leave Burkett in the game to
face Soriano. Even without another pitcher quite ready to enter the game, Little
could have gone to the mound to stall as long as possible prior to making the
switch. Leaving him in could have cost the Sox the game. But it didn't, so who
cares?

And, yes, the fishing is slow in Massachusetts - unless you enjoy catching
leaves.
