Beautiful day here today, the warm before the storm, we're supposed
to get an arctic blast any day now. Hound and I walked over to your
mom's yesterday to deliver the bananas she had me pick up at the store.
I checked her fridge and freezer while she was distracted with Kipper,
she should be fine 'til you get back.

Check this out

;-)

Teresa is supposedly getting better, they've taken the drain tube out
of her lung and she's sitting up and coughing after respiratory
therapy. All info has to pass through the idiot filter, so who knows
what's really going on.

Speaking of idiots, that nitwit real estate nuisance called this
morning. Apparently her signs ended up in the Delmont office and she
absolutely has to have them back up for today's Open House. She left
a meandering message on the machine while I was out with hound. I
called her back and told her to leave a message at the office and the
board member on call would get back to her. Apparently she's already
done that and you're the only board member she knows how to get hold
of.

That's all the news from here, bought a 5lb duck for $11 at Schnuck's
so I'm gonna eat duck and watch football today. Hope you're enjoying
San Diego and the fish tacos.

Ken,

Yes, I am enjoying San Diego and I want to know how the Hell you know that
I'm having fish tacos? It must've been a hell of a walk to my Mom's , but
I'm sure she's enjoying the bananas. They are her favorite.

Glad to hear the news about Teresa. I wish her a speedy recovery and I will
remember her in my prayers.

Ain't all real estate agents harebrained? Oh well. What's a body to do?

Say Hi to Kipper and enjoy your duck.

Sorry about that. I cancelled that as soon as I saw it, but apparently
not fast enough. You must have one hell of a fast newsreader and I can't
tell you how glad I am you reposted that whole message. No, really, I
can't.

My apologies, Ken. I *should* have snipped the original post. No harm
intended. Hope no harm was done.

My wife's "pet" name for Kipper is Tinga.

Fortunately my first wife and Teresa's mother, "the idiot filter", doesn't
read roff. So, no harm, no foul. I should have been more careful with
Mozilla.

Hmmm...I figured the "idiot filter" to be the medical staff. Nevertheless,
here's hoping for the best for Teresa.

Other than breaking Ken's formatting rules, you didn't do any harm as far as
I can tell. I have his original post in it's entirety on my newserver.
Ken, on the other hand, not only showed that he's not just a pain in the ass
on ROFF, but also highlights the dangers of calling kettles black.

I'm quite happy, in general, with Mozilla/Gecko/Netscape but either
the Cancel Message feature or my ISP is a little on the slow side.

Once again, please accept my apologies for accidentally posting an
email to roff.

I'd rather swallow a porcupine wrong end to than apologize on ROFF. :-)

Lame......I still think "I'd rather **** a 4" fillet knife than
apologize to ROFF" was the classic. I kind of miss Timbo.

It's derived from a quote of Theodore Roosevelt's.

I'd like to think that Fortenberry would lay off of people who don't
show proper netiquette and have no ****ing clue about how to use a
newsreader, at least for awhile, but I'm not optimistic.

"I have about the same desire to annex it [Santo Domingo under
American receivership] as a gorged boa constrictor might have to
swallow a porcupine wrong end to."
