Midwest Fly Tiers - Saturday December 6, 2003 marks the date of the 4th annual,
FFF Great Lakes Council, Fly Tying Expo. This years event will again be held
at the Ingham Co Fairgrounds Main Pavilion, in Mason Michigan, south of
Lansing. We are expecting 100+ tiers this year. Hours for the public will be
from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
There will be a raffle and auction in the afternoon, with the auctioneer being
Glen Blackwood of Great Lakes Fly Fishing Co and host of the PBS series "Fly
Fishing with Glen Blackwood".
This year we have decided to have a selected group of fly tying vendors at the
Expo. This will be wonderful addition to all the fly tying and related items
that the tyers have available at their tables.
If you are interested in joining us as a tier, can recommend someone to tie,
need directions, have an item that you would like to donate to the fund raiser
or just have a question, please contact me at ) and I will be
glad to help.
