Just started tying again after many years break ...
Im on the verge of throwing the kit at the wall !!!

Just shows how important practice is ..

I heard a quote once .. "an amature practices antil they get it right ..a
professional practices until it doesn't go wrong anymore"
I cant remember who said it although i think it was a golfer ..

There is no guarantee that his will help but, with the right drugs in
sufficient quantity, it certainly CAN be pretty.

Don't overdo it. If you throw it too often some of the less durable parts
may bend.

Thus defining the distiction between amateurs and professionals.

Prince nymphs will do that to me. Chill. Pour a couple fingers. Switch to
an easier pattern. Bask in your success. Pour a couple more fingers. Then
go back to the tough one. Repeat as necessary.

on reading the responses to my original posting i have decided that there is
something missing from my fly tying environment ... so im going to buy
myself a decent bottle of scotch ready for tonight and see if that helps !!

I'm boxing up my 36 flies today Joe, ready to send them out to you...(as an
ex SM I feel it is incumbent on me to set a good example) :-)) I'm assuming
the deadline is now past so they're going in the mail today unless you have
more participants than 36.
