Got all dolled up, rolled one up and headed for the hobby shop. Dressed as
the casual debonair gentleman of easy availability I figured to score big on
elementary school teachers looking for crafts for the class....

I must have went on the wrong day because the only ones there were those who
were unable to acquire tickets for the Jerry Springer show ...

Other than that, if I would have had a bag of potato chips and a couple of
brownies life would have been complete!

Brought home some beads and bangles and did some experimenting with one inch
glass tubes. Very promising but I need them about an inch and a half..
Didn't find any balsa 'dowels' only rectangular strips. Beads are out. Will
hit Fishermans' Quarters tomorrow for the sleeves suggested by Hans...

If you cannot find 'm its no problem to sent some over to you.
The ones I use are about 1 millimeter thick, black finished and have a
lenght of app. 1,25 centimeters. They do fine for me and are even large
enough for framing salmonflies tied on 4/0 hooks.
Another option are the tiny plastic tubes that are used in laboratories.
Simply cut 'm in the length you wish 'm to have.
Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need some!
