Depending on whether the lure has a ring or just an eye I would use a
loop to allow for the best movement.

The Homer Rhodes knot is what I use almost exclusively. It is easy to
tie and in 30# or better tippet you should have no problems. It is only
60-70 percent of line strength but your running line would likely break
first.

If you want more strength look at the Rapala knot which is similar but
requires additional wraps and finish after the initial overhad knot of
the Homer Rhodes. This knot is about 95 percent. I have not used this
know but if you have a concern it would be a consideration.

If the lure has a ring I use the Uni-knot and with 30# tippet, 4-5 turns
are plenty.
