At one time in the past,,, about 9 million years ago I would suspect the
deep sea fishing "in" Corpus Christi texas might have been very good,,
now all you have is some commercial establishments "selling fish"

I hear the deep sea fishing "out of" Corpus Christi can be quite good
even today

It can be good, I havent been out for a bit, but last year it seemed like
summer never ended. We caught kings year round, and even though the offshore
fishing for snapper is closed the state waters are still open and fishing
can be very good...Really your just at the mercy of the weather and currents
in the winter...hit and miss...good luck!
