We are please to announce the opening of our new fisherman's lounge at
http://www.just4thought.com . We are working to build this as a real
community site for all fisherman of the Northeast United States.

This site is an expansion to our original "Buck / Montgomery Fishing
Site" of Pennsylvania (http://fishingreports.just4thought.com). While
our local site is flourishing and still growing, I've had hundreds of
requests to expand a community site to a much wider area. This is
their answer.

We are looking to expand this fishing site to include all types and
species of fishing. I am looking people to provide articles
(fishing/hunting/outdoors), fishing/hunting/outdoors web links
(commercial/private), classified ads (commercial/non-commerical),
fish/game recipes, and most importantly forums.

On the articles, we are looking for fisherman that want to share
different stories that are worthy fishing news that are signficant and
informining. This could include new laws and regulations, human
interests, etc. Also, "How To" articles are great for teaching less
experienced anglers learn and expand their knowledge. These types of
articles can include "How to tie knots", "Basics of Largemouth Bass
Fishing", "Fishing For Sea Bass", "How To Make Your Own Lures", etc.
We will expand as many different categories as needed. Articles are
opened to Fishing (sal****er and freshwater), Hunting, Hiking, and
other Outdoor Activities. Another category I would be really
interested in reviews of vacation spots to include campgrounds to
resorts, fishing vacations to other countries, and other recommended
vacations that relate to this site.

The weblinks are all related to fishing, hunting, or other outdoor
activities. Non-commerce sites can be listed for free with a verified
reciprocal link. Commerce (and some commercial sites) can be listed
in the site for a one time $10.00 listing fee, paid via paypal. All
submissions are reviewed, if a fee is required, then an email is sent.
Prior to any link being posted, reciprocal links are verified or
payment is received. All links are reviewed weekly. Any broken links
detected are checked 24 hours later and removed if not fixed. This is
done to ensure the highest quality weblinks section. No notice of
termination is given. Any links removed must be resubmitted as new.
Duplicate URLs or Multiple URLs pointing to the same IP address are
not permitted.

Classified ad sections must be related to our website. Private ads
are free, and must be a registered member of the website. Commerical
Ads are accepted for a $3.50 fee up to 4 weeks placement in the
website. Ads must be for a single item, garage sale, etc. The
classified ads in this website are reviewed prior to posting on the
website.

We also added a recipe section. While I was going to limited to fish
and game recipes, I decided against. I am a BIG man that loves to
cook and eat. :) However, I am hoping folks put their best camping
recipes, venison, and fish recipes because those are my favorites.
These are automatically posted into the site. We already have people
ready to moderate this section. This should be a good section when it
gets really rolling.

The most important and probably the most used section by all
users/members is our community forums areas. This site is just now
getting started. We are looking for moderators of different areas and
sections. Categories are changed as membership expands.

I am currently programming a module for fishing reports that I hope to
have implemented in the next month or so. This is going to be a
standard module interface that I plan on using one several of the
fishing boards that I adminstrate and participate in. I am currently
getting a seperate server setup for this function alone. This is
something to look forward to!!!

This is a little about the site, now let me tell a little about
myself. I work full time as an Operations Manager for commercial
satellite company. I am a family man with a great wife and 3 children.
I live and work near Philly. I am trying to stop being a workaholic
and move towards being an avid fisherman. I have been involved in
making websites for many years. I specialized in installing and
writing web-based scripts and software. I have written scripts in
ASP, VB, PHP, CGI/Perl. I also have database experience in oracle,
access, filemaker pro, and SQL. My favorite is PHP and mySQL.

My motive to start this site is to learn more about fishing and share
the information that is received. While there is some advisements and
fees for commerical ads/link, this is done to offset costs associated
with this site. All costs are currently paid by me. If the site
becomes profitable, I would like to add incentives and contests into
the site as reward to the site members.

Please visit, join, and participate in our new site!!!
