Ok, I need to start making plans for the Southern Classic in April. Taking
the family and gonna visit Disney for a few days before heading down for a
day of pre-fishing and then the tourney. I need motel/hotel info for Okee
and tourney fees etc.

I'll try to get Moe by phone again today. The last time we talked he was talking to the Flamingo Motel for a discount but I don't
know for sure. You can ship you're gear here to me:

Bill Pentheny
4812 NW Royal Palm Dr.
Arcadia, Fl 34266

I'll load it all up in the station wagon and bring it to the motel as you get into town. Bill P.

Florida..... Hmmmmm...... That might be doable.

I'ld have to rent a boat in order to fit my schedule. (Drive time would
still be a bit much)

I could pas it off as a family vacation and maybe do some of the Florida
tourist stuff.

Do you guys still have that build up of sharks off the coast? I think
cranking in some of those bulls would be a blast.

Depending on the time of year there should be sharks off the coast that are
catchable, usually really strong in May in Tampa. Sharks are fun to catch
but I still prefer Bass after 1 decent shark I am usually ready to go home
and hit the bed. Good part is they eat really nice, IMHO not a better fish
in any water to eat;) Maybe you can catch one and provide the meat for a
fish fry:)

Sure was lookin forward to seeing that purty boat though.

Yeah, it would be nice to fish out of my own boat. I'm just real jealous of
my time these days. All that drive time would really eat me up though. I
can't claim I don't have a truck that would haul it anymore either. The new
3/4 ton extended cab pulls it like its hardly even back there. Heck, it
even pulls my construction office trailer like its hardly back there.

We will see. There's always the chance I might have somebody I can trust to
cover business for a week or so by then.
