This is a follow up to messages posted in August and September 2002
regarding negative experiences with purchasing flies from The Fly Guys
at www.theflyguys.net

In January 2004, I ordered 408 (34 dozen muddler minnows in different
sizes)flies from them with the understanding that they would be
delivered by April 15, 2004. They were actually delivered on March 11,
2004 by Xpresspost with tracking number. As a fly tier I can verify
that the flies are solidly tied, with good proportions and quality
materials. All in all, I am very satisfied with the end product and
the purchasing experience. Communications with the owner, Paul
Bosetti, was excellent. All emails were answered within 24 hours.

Whatever difficulties people might have had in 2002 with this firm
seem to have been resolved. I would not hesitate to buy from them
again.

BTW, my only connection with The Fly Guys is that of a satisfied
customer.

How many did you order? You must be planning on losing a whole lot of flies
this year!!!!!

I ordered for a group of 6 people, all of whom have wifes, teenagers
and friends who flyfish. Also, that batch of muddlers will probably
last us 5 years. Finally, by buying in this quantity we pay a little
over .50 cents per fly - pretty good deal.
