a recent article on lake and pond mgmt had fisheries crossing the
florida strain with a northerm bass = (Tiger Bass). The concept is
that florida strain grow larger but are less agressive thus not
readily caught on artificial...northern are more agressive and hit
better thus a cross strain = large more agressive fish. They are
introducing these bass into the wild.
I personally like the way nature made these bass..why mess with a
winner????
