Is anyone familiar with the River Irvine in Ayrshire, and if so, have
they ever actually caught anything in it? I've been fishing it for
years with a variety of baits, spurred on by stories of Salmon and Sea
Trout, but i've never really had any success. I did once catch and
return a 2lb brown trout from a weirpool i'm not sure I was actually
supposed to be fishing from, so I assume there has to be something out
there.
