I`m thinking of spending a day there - would appreciate any info - ie. how
busy does it get, boat only etc.more to the point is the fishing good?

Only 4 boats (rowing) therefore hard in windy conditions.(often)
Pre-book essential
No bank fishing
No stocking
Some occasional very nice browns--

last time I went - a while ago - perch were a big nuisance. Also it's
not an early water - June onwards is "best". Although it's in
limestone country the tarn is actually on a bed of slate.
