Hi. Are many of you catching many Carp at the moment? Or is it still a bit
cold?

You can still catch although it will be a bit slower than summer. I am
grounded this year but looking at my diary I average just over 1 per session
in January and February.

Life can often deliver a terrible blow. I hope things improve for you both
in the coming year.

Take care, Bob.

Three of us are just back from a weekend carping trip, all using feeders and
single maggots, we did quite well and had about 12 carp and numerous bream, chubb
and other bits and bobs, although nothing was huge - they averaged around a
pound and half up to 5 and half, with a couple of 3 and 4 pounders, but it is
slow going as the water is not much above freezing up here in sunny Lancs!
