To those that care,
I just gave SBC the total Boot. I have a new ISP Comcast. New email is
(remove the extra period).
SBC DSL I just took the $149 lost for hard charges. Their DSL was slower
than my old AT&T dial up service, and at $36.95 for a base line after taxes
and fees, and $21.95 for DSL it just didn't make sense. Besides, if you
talk to an Installer verus calling Comcast, you get FREE Installation,
2-months FREE, then 2-months at 19.95 before it goes to $44.95 a month. In
others words, the $149 I just ate pretty much washed out in cost reductions
from switching services.
