I learned today that I may have a work related trip in Feb. down to
Orlando - a confrence for some computer software I support as part of
my job.

Based only on what I've been told so far, it looks like a S/M/T and
1/2 of Weds. type of thing. I don't have specific dates at this time,
but will track them down. I also need to go thru all the proper
channels to get it approved - so nothing is definite yet.

My question is: How booked is your schedule in Feb for Thursday's
(preferred) or Fridays? How soon would you need a firm commitment?

Thanks

Moe is migrating to NY for the winter now, Jim, so he may not read your
message for awhile. I think he plans to head back to Florida in early April
or late March, so he would not be there while you're visiting. However, he
refers clients to a few select guides, so try emailing him directly and see
who he recommends in that area. Now is a good time to be scheduling February
fishing trips.

He told me he'd be back for his boat for the southern classic. In the meen time I've got a big boat to fish from for the winter.
Now if I only had a tow vehicle <G>. I don't think my 4 cylender Dodge wagon will pull it up a ramp. Bill P.

Thanks for the heads-up. I tryed the phione number on Moes web page
today - but its been disconnected/taken out of service - so I sent him
an email. Hopefully he gets it - according to my boss, the trip has a
good chance of being approved.

Odd that he heads NORTH for the winter - up here - we have Snow Birds
- those folks who head south for the cold months....

Hi,

I went w/ a fellow in Jan. 2 yrs ago while in Orlando...was one of top 5
fishing trips of my life...
1/2 day trip...guide picked us up at hotel at 5 am...by 1 pm we had lost
count of the fish we caught...(We were flanked by 3 other boats who didn't
do a 10th of how well we did...(Got pictures n witnesses...lol)
Guide told us he had a choice of over 100 places to fish within 1 hour of
city...Hope your trip pans out.

Care to post the name of the guide you used? I managed to get ahold
of Moe, sadly - he's not available until late March. I also looked up
his first suggestion as to an alternate - and that gentleman has shut
down his guide business for a while. So far, haven't heard back from
Moe as to any other recommendations he has.

I hate to just start making phone calls - I much prefer a
referral.....

Thanks

Jim, (Please forgive the long gap between reply, i tried n ur e mail
bounced, so am replying to group)

I lost the guide's business card, but you could call the guy who invited
me...he may have it still.
E mail me and I will give you his ph. #.
I called out of the phone book years b4 that trip (In Orlando on a family
Disney trip) and yes we caught fish (my 2 boys & I) but the guide was an
a--!!!
U never kno, so yes referrals are best.
BTY, this guide does light offshore as well too, and he couldn't be nicer.
