View Full Version : The 2004 Northwoods Classic Roster

Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers

Hey everyone,

I've received a few new entries for the NWC. So, please take a look and
make sure that if you're planning on attending this great time, your name is
on the roster, and if you're going to be a boater or not.

Or, if you have no idea what in the heck I'm talking about, it's a fun
tournament that's being held in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, on September 10th
and 11th, the weekend after Labor Day.

More details to be coming this week, but here's the link to the roster.
Just scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Sorry Steve... I'm not going to be able to make it this year, unless I hit
the lottery or something. (Just bought a new (to me) truck too! Plus, Secret
Weapon has just about used up all of my vacation time, not counting next
weeks trip to the FLW...

Randy's already got this one won anyway! Go Randy!!!

Hmmmm. I thought I was on the roster, yet I don't seem to be. That works
well, since our plans have changed ( again) and we WON'T be able to make it.

Man I'ld love to make it to one our classics, and meet all you guys. Maybe
next year. If I could just get a couple really good installation techs who
could cover me for more than a day or two...

Just tell my buddy Gil to clear his fishin rods off that spare bed, I'm
taking him up on his offer this year (if it's ok with him & Bunny of course,

I see I am listed as a question mark as to boater or non-boater. I
will definately be a boater. I am buying a cottage just west of
Rhinelander on Friday and hope to get on Boom next week. Looking
forward to the tournament.

Probably not this weekend. We will be moving all weekend so I don't
expect to have time to fish until sometime next week.

We will be on Indian Lake bordering the Woodboro wildlife area. The
lake is a small 40 acre no wake lake. We have 11 acres and are
bordered by state forest on two sides. It is suppose to be excellent
hunting. Looking forward to checking out this new area of the state
to me. We will be at the cottage for the next week and a half after
we close on it Friday evening.

Off limits? For the fishermen, or the fish?

Seem like the only ones to follow the off limits period were the keeper
bass......

My neighbor who has gone to Boom with a group of 5 most every year since
he was a kid has said that last year was his last.....It's a 9 hour
drive for him/us and after fishing some other lakes last year, he says
they're moving on to better water. So the fishin' pressure on boom has
dropped by 5 <grin>
