Is anyone having trouble with roff dropping posts? The "Alaska for
Obama" thread has dropped all of the posts except the very last one.

Other threads also have many posts missing.

Is this a Usenet problem, or is Giganew having troubles?

Gloves in COLD weather

The little lake I fish has gone on a roller coaster ride in water temps
since Friday, I had a 52, 58, 52 and 30 the past 4 days. My ring finger on
my right hand was getting painful, I have a pair of glacier gloves, but was
wondering if there's something better out there, I don't do mittens, I like
keeping my fingers ready cast and remove fish from hooks.

Just got my truck it's 275,000 b'day present ... new oil and filter, all
zerks lubed

I came back home in Oct intendeing to buy a new one, but the money "saved'
( in investments" ) to pay for it has shrunk badly. Which has me decided
to shoot for 300K instead ... probably an up side to the down turn, really
.... 300K is a nice goal.

OT GM bailout

I, personally, don't want to see GM 'bailed out' via my money. Let 'em go
BK and restructure. Their business model is dead ... bury the damn corpse,
don't keep it on a heart lung machine pretending it's still alive

I fished all today in Randy's back seat

Now he claims he beat me, but his one fish over me he caught from the
bank, while I was teaching him,, now does that fish count ? I say no,
because he was on the bank, and not in the boat.

I told him a tie was just as good as a win, because he is the first to
do that, but he still wants to claim a win.

It was a terrible day on Guntersville Lake, a cold front hit about the
time we got the boats in the water, but it was the most fun I have had
in ages on the water. There was nothing caught out in a main lake with
any lures or technique

The fish we did catch were caught in the protected slue the boat ramp
was in. the only lure that caught fish was a wiggled fluke.

Randy Howell is a first class act, I was impressed, look for him in the
top 10 at the upcoming B.A.S.S. Classic in a couple months, after
today, he may even be first :-)

Yellow Lab my wife got me one of those Quote A Day calendars
with pictures of Yellow Labs and dog quotes.
