I think the Patriot Act is too far reaching. There are already laws on the
books for most of the criminal and/or terrorist activities in the U.S. I
don't share the abundance of paranoia that I see in the GOP.

See, this is the part I hate.......just when you think you've got the
species pegged, along comes this little flash of human rationality.......and
ya gotta start all over again. O.k., I'm with ya.......go on.

As far as Social Security is concerned, I think I could have done a lot
better had I been able to invest those same monies in simple savings
accounts.

And, thus, you refuse to accept such ill-gotten gains, right? And in the
meantime, crafty devil that you are, you actually DID put an equal amount
into a simple savings account and thus you are able to retire early and live
a life of liesure, right?

But I have to pay into it whether I like it or not.

Each paycheck I receive has a noted deduction for the upkeep of that
entitlement.

Another fact......and one that is a very ill kept secret

It used to have it's own fund and account. But it was raided by Congress
and put into the General Fund. So, I will collect "my share" someday, but
until then, I guess I'll have to put up with the tax that it is.

This is beginning to sound suspiciously like life as we know it. How
horrible, how tragic, that YOU of all people should have to live it while
the rest of us loll about in a soporific stupor, living off
of.....um......well, whatever it is.

BTW - do you think GW will be giving us another tax refund - I could use
another 600.00 dollar check just before Christmas!

Hell yes! Mortgage your grandchildren.......I don't give a ****......I
don't have any.

So, bottom line is that like so many others, you've been sucking on the
taxpayers tit for virtually all of your adult life (at least) and you don't
like government intruding on your proud, honorable, and self-sufficient
life...........that about it?
