Dang Danl. Look what you started. I've only read part of the thread but
thought I would put my 2 cents is as far as beer goes.
Beer! I see it. I drink it. Along with bourbon, scotch, gin and other
various sensory depressors. (Bud does go down pretty easy though).

It was no accident. Dan'l started the thread because four
likeminded DYBS (dumbass, yuppie beer snobs) made disparaging
remarks about Budweiser in the Wednesday food section of the
Times. Not content to sip their effete, overhopped, bitter
tasting, ridiculously expensive glamour brews and leave real
beer drinkers well enough alone these DYBS feel compelled to
denigrate Budweiser at every opportunity. One wonders why.
Actually I asked Dan'l why, twice, and he didn't respond.

Well, of course it goes down easy. It's damn good beer.
You've got to take formal classes if you want to learn
how to sneer at Budweiser.

NEWS FLASH! Pilsner beers contain hops. Hops are bitter.

Where does that leave Bud?

Well Ken,
Just got back from a beer run. 1-6Pak, 16 oz. Old Milwaukee - $3.79
Great Stuff.
Danl does like his good beer and I've sipped a few with him.
Great guy, excellent fisher, good drinking partner.

Blech. We'll have to disagree.

Danl does like his good beer and I've sipped a few with him.
Great guy, excellent fisher, good drinking partner.

Now *that* we can agree on.

Perhaps he is reticent to state the obvious. No such squeamishness
here........it's be cause the stuff tastes really bad.

I've never taken a class of any sort, formal or otherwise, that had anything
at all to do with the production, distribution, sales, marketing, storage,
serving, tasting, or enjoyment of beer. Budweiser is ****.

Wolfgang
ever wonder what it would be like to be a real boy?.......yes, of course you
have........well, keep on wondering. :)
and no, you can't be me.

Thus demonstrating once again that Kennie CAN (on occasion) behave like a
real boy......however briefly......but it just isn't the same thing......is
it Kennie? :)

Ken,
Probably a good thing to disagree on - pretty harmless.

I don't know if I should admit to this, but I sure do like to ad a couple
oz. of V-8 or tomato juice to my beer. Makes all beer taste healthy and I
can claim I've had my vegetable intake for the day.
