Nice reaction. Like Pavlov's dog ;).

Can't stand anonymous posters, regardless their political bent.

And the only Greg I know posting here is Pavlov. However, haven't
seen his posts in a looooong time.

Hey! Watch out for that tru........oops. Oh well.

done most of what I wanted at the time I wanted it. I would wish a
similar life for my friends and let my enemies slave life away in
order to be owned by impressive stuff, or impress stuffy people. G

A toast for Larry! Here's hoping you have more enemies than friends, for
productivity's sake. ;-)

My son got accepted to both Berkeley and Stanford, so I asked him why
he
decided on the later?

I would suggest he check out the University of Montana. I have heard that
their English program is first rate, many writers have come out of there,
they have a great drama program etc etc.

The creative writing course at Uof M is world renowned... plus you get to
live in Missoula, which is an added benifit....

Don't be fooled by the cowboy
stuff. . . this is a great school, well respected in the Northwest and has
sent a lot of creative people on to New York. Seems like half the equity
actors here in Seattle came out of Montana.

He might also want to consider Evergreen here in Washington, a real gem of
a
State school for creative people.

Although I have a step daughter at Evergreen, I believe it's reputation is
not held in high regard among employers in the north west.

Well, you know what they say:

If you aren't a liberal at 20, you have no heart, and if you aren't a
conservative by 30, you have no brain...

TC,

Oh wouldn't that be pretty.
Lets see you prove this canard.

I even know where Djibouti and Bayanhongor are. I'de go back to either
on before going back to Dallas. Better horsemen, better looking women
and no aggie fat boys. Err- the fatboys aren't in Dallas anymore,
they're in Montana looking for Brokeback mountain.

One thing that has consistently pleased, yet surprised me, in my travels is
just how sophisticated many hick places are G

The kid is on his own, but his dad would rather send him to a school in New
York that sends a lot of people to Montana, than vice versa .... after all,
I love him G

If he can afford to live there, The New School, in the village, is
highly respected -- and mentored.
