Leaders with least memory? (Also, wallet suggestion?)

I know you found one that was nowhere near the description that Fortenberry gave, but I have heard of another one which is exactly as he described it. Topozone says there are 53, divided among 17 states. Interestingly, 12 of them are in Wisconsin (4 in Vilas county alone) and not a single one is listed as being under a bar stool in Cooke City, Montana. Wolfgang who, nevertheless, has it on good authority that it can be seen clearly from there. |

Dave dave - it's a decent effort for your friend, but it doesn't fit or answer the dispute. i suspect there are probably more than two fawn lakes...but ken and i were talking about the same one in Yellowstone near the headwaters of the gardner and fawn creek (east of fan pass)... the one i know exists, is shown on yellowstone maps, has plenty of water, and holds sizeable brook trout; and, being the identical one ken first stated didn't exist at all, then said was only a mud hole or something like that. he even impLIED we (Warren, John Hightower, Chas, and I) falsified the photos we took of the lake and the fish caught in the lake. go back and look at the notes we exchanged about the location and you'll be satisfied we were in the same spot. he just wasn't telling the truth... you may also recall my willingness to prove his lie... i offered a wager in which i agreed to advance the cost of his airfare to Yellowstone in a month suitable to him (i think it was august or september he liked best) for a visit to fawn lake just to prove he wasn't correct - with his only obligation being to reimburse me and pay my airfare and the cost of the horsey ride (or something like that), and to admit his lie publicly, if he was wrong. dave - i'm sure you know when someone makes the bold assertion "i don't lie", one should have no doubt, and no further proof should be required, as to whether or not they are in fact a liar. hope all is well in the land of democrats. i'm off to chase the puppy drum tomorrow. jeff jeff |

Put a couple of wire nails about 10-12 feet/3-4m apart in a climate-controlled room and use plastic coated paperclips and rubber bands to store them. Well, sure, that's good enough as far as it goes.......but what about stopping neutrinos? Wolfgang who knows that one ignores entropy at one's peril. I don't know about neutrinos but one of the guys on the WI MB just emailed me asking for your leader formula Wolf. It was Jeremy, the Brit. He tried one at Avalanche a few years ago and they impressed him. He says that he's approaching perfection and they just might push him over the edge. Ah yes, the secret formula! They'll have to pry it out of my cold dead brain! There is no power on Earth that can make me reveal that I start with a hunk of cheap 30 lb. nylon mono about 30 inches long (or somewhere in that neighborhood, anyhow) and then work down through 20 lb., 15, 12, 10, 8, and 6 (all of which are the cheapest nylon mono I can lay my hands on*) with each successive piece being 2/3 the length of the previous chunk until we reach ten inches or so, after which any remaining are tied at that length (all lengths being "finished" lengths....after knots at both ends are completed......remember to make appropriate allowances). I use the Surgeon's Knot, three turns for the big stuff, four for the smaller. This formula is doubtless the result of many years of painstaking research, calculation, experimentation and whatnot all by someone with a great deal of dedication and determination. I found it somewhere or other a long time ago. It worked. Never bothered to look at any others. Tell Jeremy I says hello and if we ever meet up again and he casts better than me, he owes me something or other. :) Wolfgang * eagle claw something or other.....buck seventy seven a spool.....at k-mart or wal-mart.....or something or other like that.....if memory serves. Thanks Wolfgang g.c. |

As if anyone would believe a self-confessed liar of long standing. I have every intention of continuing Kenny boy, Good ! There's no better way to convince roff that you are indeed a stark, raving madman than hundreds of His Loony Mikeness psycho posts. Your own words are the best. LOL !! but you seem to be running out of lies, propaganda, and the calumny you are otherwise wont to indulge in. No, you silly piece of work, I went to bed. LOL !!! Please, do carry on. -- Ken Fortenberry More lies Kenny boy. I have not confessed to anything of the sort. I have no need to lie about you, the truth is much more damaging. MC |
