Huh? "...shiny new nickel, we will so no indication." What the F%&K
are you talking about?

Turn the webTV off and get back to Dukes of Hazard reruns.

The poster is, of course, an anonymous ****wit, but credit where
credit's due. He/she/it is posting anonymously from EasyNews, not
WebTV, he/she/it has correctly identified Wolfie's nonsense as
nonsense and, unlike the usual ****wits on roff, he/she/it is not
a top-poster. All in all, not bad for a ****wit and a whole lot
better than our usual ****wits.

hey, what is a "browns" anyway? g i live in "greenville", in "pitt"
county, nc...our university is now paying 3 head football coaches (two
were fired, but had great contracts), and we've hired a chief asst coach
from u of illinois. i'd never presume to slander another's city. truth
is, i've never been to cleveland...i just don't feel comfy in big towns.
this place has about 150,000+ in the county, and i'm feelin crowded.

And for what it is worth, I've had the Au Sable to myself both times I've
fished it. Neither were during the "best" season (one was late July, the
other late August). The Mason Tract especially reminded me quite a bit of a
U.P. stream. Very nice brookie fishing. On the river, I saw no other
anglers and only one or two kayak/canoe groups float by.

i generally consider it a bad sign if kayaks and canoes float by while
i'm fishing... you need to come down to nc sometime. the fish aren't
big, but you won't be troubled with a kayak interrupting your happiness.

That said, you wouldn't have to twist my arm very hard to get me to join a
congregation in Iron/Schoolcraft/Baraga/Ontonagan/Gogebic counties for some
streamside laying on of hands.

praisedalawd!! brothers cleveland (of the george variety, not the
municipality), wolfgang, axelrad... can we get an amen?

Wayne and Bill have been talking about a Troll clave (you know.....the lower

this coming season. If I was in the business of giving advice, and you of
taking it, I'd suggest we get together on the notion of exploring this
possibility. The Au Sable, so I'm told, is big enough to float a Baker AND
it holds trout! :)

Thank you, brother ****wit. We ****wits must defend one another
against the rabble of ROFF. The rabble of ROFF is of course like the
sacred Simurgh, of Arabian fable -- omnipotent on condition that it do
nothing.

Yeah, you'll get along just fine around here. Welcome to roff,
you're just in time for northern hemisphere cabin fever season.

right now my plan would be to fly in/out of marquette. as i recall, it's
a pleasant and relatively short drive from there to bruce crossing and
it's centrally located? we can do another traveling trout carnivale with
itineraries, we can do the gypsy thing and make it up as we go, or we
can just find an agreeable area to hunker down. in any event, let's
locate suitable backcountry lodgings. september isn't "kill a tar
heel" season or anything like that up there, is it? skeeters and flies
will be corpse-like? 7-10 days? august/september - you guys decide on
the dates.

Yes I do. I've only fished tons once, and was unsuccessful. I put it down
to not being in the company of ROFFians.
