"...shiny new nickel, we will so no indication." What the F%&K are you talking about? It's a literacy test. Take your time. Be sure to check your answer before submitting it. How do you know it's a literacy test? I wrote it. Is it of the sort your institution administers? Yes. Did you pass? I wrote it. Wolfgang well, this should be fun. :) I was right. And your answer is wrong. Wolfgang and we're just warming up! :) |

Amen! Ya'll thrash out the details. I'm in. Sounds like we're talking about a separate trip from the June both-sides-of-the-bridge clave. If so, I vote for mid-September. As if I can plan for next week, let alone for nine months from now. Perhaps I can even line up the R Lake cabin... Mid-September works for me. Nice time of year up there. The brookies will be in their glory. If you can't get the cabin, I can almost certainly arrange to use Fisher's shack. If we do it, I'm going to take a day to head north to the ancestral fishing grounds in northern Baraga county, see if I can find what was my great uncle's fishing camp on the Huron River. Ya'll are welcome to come along. Can you say "coasters"? Thought you could :-) Well, L'Anse is only about an hour's drive from Bruces, and the Huron has been on my list for a long time. Jay tells me that the Sturgeon is good too. And then, there's the Otter, the Silver, the Slate, the Salmon Trout, the Yellow Dog......... As a matter of fact, from that neighborhood, it's just a short stroll on up into the Keweenaw.......hm...... Oh, and the Hilltop Restaurant in L'Anse serves a good Swedish smorgasbord. Think it is all-you-can-eat. And, Jeff, I believe it is pasty-free. Yah, dey took da pasties off ta make room for da olive bar, eh? :) Wolfgang |

And then, there's the Otter, the Silver, the Slate, the Salmon Trout, the Yellow Dog......... didn't we fish the sturgeon one day? bold, beautiful water...we needed to go farther upstream, i think. those others sound fun. jim harrison wrote of the yellow dog in "true north" i believe. I'd join you, despite your slander of my fair city. :-) hey, what is a "browns" anyway? g Salmo trutta? cleveland salmo trutta?? nah...i don't buy that one. Yes I do. I've only fished tons once, and was unsuccessful. I put it down to not being in the company of ROFFians. inebriation does seem to help... ...warming up the choir... um...you've not heard me sing...might better work on organizing a coven. according to rachel, i'd be better suited at grunting incantations.
