both-sides-of-the-bridge clave.

If so, I vote for mid-September. As if I can plan for next week, let alone
for nine months from now. Perhaps I can even line up the R Lake cabin...

If we do it, I'm going to take a day to head north to the ancestral fishing
grounds in northern Baraga county, see if I can find what was my great
uncle's fishing camp on the Huron River. Ya'll are welcome to come along.
Can you say "coasters"? Thought you could :-) Oh, and the Hilltop
Restaurant in L'Anse serves a good Swedish smorgasbord. Think it is
all-you-can-eat. And, Jeff, I believe it is pasty-free.

Mid-September works for me. Nice time of year up there. The brookies will
be in their glory.

If you can't get the cabin, I can almost certainly arrange to use Fisher's
shack.

Well, L'Anse is only about an hour's drive from Bruces, and the Huron has
been on my list for a long time. Jay tells me that the Sturgeon is good
too. And then, there's the Otter, the Silver, the Slate, the Salmon Trout,
the Yellow Dog.........

As a matter of fact, from that neighborhood, it's just a short stroll on up
into the Keweenaw.......hm......
