Mark, can we call a truce? We will soon be neighbors (by end of May,
hopefully). http://www.ashecountyrealestate.com/...ties/B154.html or http://www.ashecountyrealestate.com/...ties/H179.html I'm favoring the one in Jefferson, but Jo wants the cheaper one. Should be some good places to fish in that neck of the woods. Dave |

Dave either one looks nice, but I would agree with your pick. Is this to be the retirement locale, or are you still looking at a place in Florida, as well? Tom |

When we returned from our Floriduh trip three weeks ago, Joanne was welcomed with another promotion to Executive Director in the Wireless part of Verizon. So, retirement will have to take a back seat for a year or so. Looking in Floriduh, Georgia, and NC. I'm just pullin' Bowen's leg (yuck!) with the two properties listed, but we are considering the mountains of NC, as well as St. Simons Island, Georgia mountains, and Floriduh. Given a lot of thought about purchasing some land in NC and building what we want. Wherever it is, gotta have some fly fishing and a minimum amount of snow in the winter. If it is NC, guess I will have to stock up on alot of the "clear" drinks, gormet coffee, and lotsandlotsof beer. Gads, being a neighbor of wayno shudder gives me the willies, but having Waldo, Tom Brown, and Jeff not far away would be pleasant, perhaps not for my liver, but in general. d;o) |

nice job....pres dumb ****.....what's barry hiding
and why ?? what does a pussy like hussein know about our wounded vets.....what a ass clown...... -----news snip-------------------------------- Erik Roberts, an Army sergeant who was wounded in Iraq, underwent his 13th surgery recently to save his right leg from amputation. Imagine his shock when he got a bill for $3,000 for his treatment. Army Sgt. Erik Roberts was badly wounded in Iraq with two comrades in April 2006. 1 of 3 "I just thought it was bull---- that I'm getting billed for being wounded in Iraq doing my job. I always put the mission first, and now that I was wounded in Iraq, they're sending me bills," he said. "I put my life on the line and I was wounded in combat, and I came back and they're not going to take care of my medical bills?" It's a level of outrage shared by his mother, as well as the doctor who performed the surgery. "It's hard to understand why we're not taking care of guys like Erik whose injuries are clearly related to their service. They deserve the best care of anybody," said Dr. William Obremskey, an Air Force veteran and surgeon at Vanderbilt Orthopaedics in Nashville, Tennessee. "For him to be responsible for $3,000, I think, is a little ridiculous or is uncalled for, particularly in this situation." |

You dumb ignorant traitorous piece of ****, Your team, your vote cut back on VA and DOD medical requests., you lying asshole. That's a fact jack. And your team refused to put the Iraq budgets in the main budget or account for the forward disability costs (600 billion and rising) or the other needs of the 1.7 million vets of Iraq and Afghanistan. You are without one of the stupidest mother ****ers that has ever posted on this NG under a traceable name. Your hatred for the United States totally ****es me off. Looking at some of your other NG posts on tax matters tells me that you are destined to be on the IRS problem preparers list eventually, Dave Dave |
