I always wondered why I was pretty happy with my level of health care here in Alberta, especially with all those people telling me how crappy it was. Tim Lysyk |

And for all you over 40 folks that have a prostate gland -- get it checked every year, including a PSA. and, if possible, especially abnormals(high numbers), have the PSA re-run. Most PSA methods are pretty squirrelly and IMO more prone to error than other common chemistries. Not saying that a LOT of bad results come through, but every method I have ever seen(7 to present) seems to be prone to stray error. still, Daves advice is good, indeed Tom |

I do, both provincial and employer supplemental (semi-private and other fancy stuff) but neither will spend more to get the same treatment here at much less cost, and without waiting I might add. Incidentally, cancer survival rates are better here than where you're standing so I'll take my chances here. Peter turn mailhot into hotmail to reply |

Left Cancerous Kidney removed 2001, no signs of active disease October 2005. I'll take my chances here thank you very much. |
