Morons on the home lake...

The only people that bother me are the ones that think they can improve on
God's creation with gangsta rap or such from all the way across the lake.

I'm still trying to figure out when my rights to listen to my music softly
were revoked.

So as I fished up fishing this evening, I passed this obnoxiously loud
family...the whole time they were loud, annoying, and rather annoying.

So,
as I pass them I asked if they had any luck, they tell me they landed two
striped bass. This is my home lake, mind you. I fish this lake almost
every day and there are NO striped bass in this lake. Never have been.

So
I politely ask them if they are sure and if they weren't mistaking a
crappie? Well, they start giving me **** and arguing telling me how

stupid
I am and how they have been fishing since 8am. I politely explained that

I
am on this lake almost every day every available hour I can be... Well,
they continued to mock me and the husband finally turns to me and goes, "I
know what a f'n striped bass looks like..it was green and had stripes..."

I just shook my head, looked at him dead in the eye, and replied, "Striped
bass are white..only white.." and walked away. As I walked away they
continued to mock me and laugh. Ah well, can't educate the ignorant.

(maybe
this was LureBuilder and his family?)

All in all, it was a slow day but I did land my first my baitcaster.
Ahhh..what a day.

Christopher

The biggest mistake I see people around here make is calling
small largemouth bass...smallmouth bass. And I've learned over the
years not to correct most of these guys..as many people don't really
care to know the difference. They're just out catching fish...

Morons on the home lake...

I remember years ago being on a party boat next to a real obnoxius guy. He
was catching bluefish and nobody could seem to get a bite. Kept screaming he
was the "Northeast Assassin". Well 6 hours of this was enough and I was
gonna hang it up and catch a nap before heading back in. I tied on a heavy
weight to my line and sunk my bunker bait. I felt a huge bite that almost
took the pole from me. About 5 minutes later I boated a 15 lb bluefish that
won the pool for 150.00. The guy was steaming. As we walked off the boat my
brother commented, That's the way an assassin lands a pool winner., if the
guy could have blown smoke out his ears he would have :-)
