What do you improved clinch knots for again? Count them out for the
audience and be sure to call RW with the info again. G

Vince and Old Farts,

Thanks for not saying "Vince and OTHER Old Farts.

Here's an easier way to tie a clinch or improved clinch.
(The graphics for this site suck, but they should give you an idea of
how to tie)

I think that graphic is pretty clear, Warren. One thing that might be
made more clear is that the hemostat can be "cranked" put those turns
on the tippet. Years ago, someone showed me how to wind the tippet
by putting my finger in the loop and then cranking, but I usually hook
my finger.

I'd rather hook the hemostast. It doesn't bleed.

Don't use droppers very often but when I have, I've tied a uni-knot
above the tippet knot and then tied the fly to the 5" or 6" tag. The
tippet knot keeps it from slipping and I've tied the weaker dropper
tippet to the stronger mono above the point tippet.
