Sorry about the poor resolution but the server I am using will only allow small files. ..... They look great to me. I don't think they were compressed too much for viewing on the web. When viewing them on a computer screen there would be little difference with an uncompressed image, IMO. If you had posted the original 5 Meg pix, only a fraction of the picture would have filled the computer screen. And those with slow connections wouldn't have seen them at all. I'm using a dial-up connection during my move back to the U.S., and I'd never have waited to download a long series of 5 Meg files. The photos in 100K are well worth a moderate wait. Terrific shots of the variety of insects in Penns. That from-below pic of the female sulfur makes me wonder why more sulfur dry patterns don't have much more pronounced egg sacks. Very good stuff. Thanks a lot for the work you put into taking, then posting them. If I ever fish Penns, I'm going to consult these photos as least as much as Tom L's excellent shots of the patterns he uses. JR |

Sorry about the poor resolution but the server I am using will only allow small files. The pictures on the web site are about 100k compared to the pics stored on my PC that are 5 megs each. I lost a good chunk of resolution in the scale down process. I hope you all have a great fall season and as for me its time to head back to the sal****er and catch some stripers and after that I'll fish for steelhead up north. Heres the URL for the site http://home.comcast.net/~montaukbruce/wsb/index.html Was hoping those pictures would see the light of day sometime. Very nice work, Bruce! Bill |

(snip) Tight lines Softhackle Hi Softhackle, I really enjoyed the pics on the website. As you mention later in the thread you have more pics of the hatches. I for one, would enjoy seeing some more if you have some time to post them. Sounds like you'll be busy with stripers and steelhead for awhile. BestWishes, DaveMohnsen Denver |
