Hoooooah!

Holy smokes, they really did it! I watched every game, suffered those
first
three games with the Yanks and then the late night antics in The Greatest
Comeback In Baseball History....and I still can't believe this ending
really
happened.

Yikes!

An object lesson in the power of a single-minded purpose. From the jump to
the
last out, the Red Sox never took their knee off the Cardinals throats...

/daytripper (The Red Sox were Ruthless! ;-)

I guess if it had to happen, it couldn't have happened in better
circumstances. The Red Sox didn't just beat some flash-in-the pan expansion
team who bought their way to a series. This was a classic matchup between
two of the oldest, most historic franchises in baseball. Congratulations to
the Sox; they and all their fans deserve to celebrate.

Now . . . how many days until pitchers and catchers report?

Uh, hmm, 8 straight victories against two teams that each won 206 games, a
gang of idiots finishing with a shutout and the leader of the "gang"
smacking the winning HR in the first at bat of the game. Gotta say it.
"HOMERIC" See you in 2090.
