It's a good thing the group had at least *one* person with their wits

Holy ****, Jeff. That sounds like SWMBO's description of what happened to

No leopards, no fines, but a fine day for all!

Mark --still the preeminent psychic to the recently deceased--

exactly!!

I had never heard of the 23rd to 1st rule? I wonder what's up with that?

Thank your deity or deities (atheists may thank me), there remain a few
stalwart hunters of that most wiley of aquatic species - the Zissou
leopard trout, a fish that lurks in the depths of dream and wonder.

[snippage of just zactly how it happened.....]

Couldn't have said it nearly as eloquently as yourownself, jeffie. I had a
wunnerful time. There is no prettier place to go fishless than the upper
reaches of the Santeetlah. I'll spare the group the needless recital of my
previous insistence that we go to Snowbird instead. The fact that the large
fish in the photo that you posted on APBF was from Snowbird has caused me no
regrets whatsoever......no, really....

You may expect a pestilence of emails from Moe regarding which day next week
(and the week after, and the week after, etc..) he might be able to meet you
in Robbinsville to continue the pursuit of the Zissou.

I regret the hasty retreat over the mountain after fishing. I had really
looked forward to sampling the cuisine and libations of Graham County and
witnessing your reaction to some of Moe's more, shall we say "interesting",
fish stories. You know its time to find the door when he starts with,
"Well, me and Brother Bill were out on Tellico a few weeks ago...."

As Charlie Choc so astutely observed, my Mongolian Yak Pilot's headdress
will pay big dividends on the SJ in a couple of weeks, thank you very much.

Thanks again for displaying your usual Southern grace and hospitality.

A couple of additional photos will be posted to APBF
