My boys were 5 and 10 respectively and loved to fish with dear old dad. Oh well, I will be 50 on the 17th and they just ordered me a Dell Axim x50v for that special day. Nice to have them employed too. ;-) Joe Z. |

I used to use them quite a bit, but after one season with a good dose of
"tennis elbow" I gave them up and have never had the same problem again. I love the close quarters accuracy of them, but will pass on em now. -- God Bless America Josh The Bad Bear |
Medium heavy rod 5' 6".
That should work well for spinnerbaits. For a reel, I'll have to suggest a Curado, but I'm a bit biased as I own several of them. Brad Coovert Tournament Director, Greenfield Bassmasters http://www.greenfieldbassmasters.com Esox Rods - Hand Made In The USA "For The Toughest Fishing Around" |

I received a pistol grip fishing rod but I don't know how/when I am suppose to use it. Could someone also recommend a reel to pair with it? I have a Team Diawa 6' pistol grip that I really like for Rattle traps. Its the Top Water model and I have a Ambassador 4601 high speed reel on it. I have been a reluctant changer to the longer handle rods but they do handle better, but I still like the pistol grip for that purpose. BD |

Young enough to do everything, just too damn stupid to know what to do. :) Nah, by the time I was 25, I had a pretty good handle on things. I was young enough to do anything I wanted, old enough to know when not to, and young enough not to care. Oh well, I can't go back, and being a grandpa is pretty cool, and that's not something that a 25 year old can do! -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |
