.. . . and we arrive at our thirteen tyers for this swap. Larry also
indicated he may have a friend who would like to join, so let's call it
fourteen. If I missed anyone, please let me know.

So, here are the official rules:
1) Tie fourteen flies of the same pattern that you like to use during the
summer/warm months. The can be for any species fish.
2) Tag the flies. There are many way to tag flies, but I've found that
glossy ink-jet photo paper is great, 'cause it seems to hold the flies fine
and is easy to find. Avoid string-type tags if you can - they get tangled in
the sorting.
3) Place the flies in a box (something about the size of a VCR box works
well.) Remember, YOU may be tying a tiny fly, but you may be receiving back
some large ones.Be sure to include self-addressed, postage paid return
packaging so the swap flies can find their way back to you.
4) Ship said tagged flies to:

Tim Johnson
c/o Solutions by Computer, Inc.
191 Chestnut Street
Springfield, MA 01103

That's it! You can include the recipe if you'd like, but that's optional.
The deadline for shipping the flies is Friday September 16, but go ahead and
send them to me as soon as you're done. I know you people don't need that
much time to tie fourteen flies, but *I* do. Moving a household (have you
seen my keys?) is a wonderful thing (where's my razor?), but it also
produces (does anyone know if there's a key for this door I just locked?)
its own trials (I thought *you* had the screwdriver) and tribulations.

Shortly after the deadline, I'll ship one of each fly back to the
participants. Now, get to work and start tying!

Little stuff is great - takes up less room in the box. Your flies always
cause me to ponder how you do stuff that small. %-\

.... I should have known better than to use the word "final" on ROFF. . .

I forgot to include Big Dale in the count, so make that 15 tyers/flies for
the swap.
