I haven't seen him in 6 or 7 years. I think he was still a student (UMass?) around 1995. You're all being read if not entirely understood :-) Well, now, that pretty well sums the whole mess up, and in a very short paragraph, too... Cheers, R |

Or of nothing more than a computer program doesn't "know" "skwala" from "thesameskwalaatanewaddress." Digs at Wolfie aside, Stevie, er, Barney, er, Royal Wul, er, rw - well, whatever - is on the list twice, and George (Ginkles) and other frequently, long-time posters aren't on it. I've used one...well, um, er, _mainly_ one "from" addy for 10 or so years while others have made multiple changes. I'd say that list is exactly like a whole bunch of "data" that gets accepted as highly meaningful, very important, and extremely interesting - IOW, useless crap. HTH, R |

Found this interesting gem: http://groups.google.com/group/rec.o...0207d86?&hl=en That was a nice report. Thanks for finding and sharing it, John. Several things caught my eye: Fishing with streamers; at that time of year, egg patterns are the fly to use. (This was also before beed eggs were being used, which makes a very big difference, especially in fish mortality.) A guide would know exactly what fly/color/size to use for optimum fishing. I'll take some flack for this, but when you go off on your own you do stand the chance of going to unproductive water - i.e. low/high flows, mis-colored water, etc, and a higher chance of facing a rogue bear. Also, the choice of fly can be a hit or miss situation. I have never had even a mediocre day of fishing in Alaska. The size of the fish surprised me. Twelve inch rainbows? Three pound pike? That can't be the norm. Very nice time, however, and a good read. Again, thanks for finding/sharing it. Camera equipment: What? One digital camera should be more than enough. Ahhh, but in 1992 they were still using that funny stuff - film. d;o) Extra space should be filled with see through stuff....or even Buds. |

Well, since you've assumed the mantel of resident diagnostician and label maker, what would be the proper term to use in referring to those who find persons with disabilities of one sort or another to be nothing more than a source of entertainment?
