If some of the people on Wayno's "light in the darkness" list
would learn the judicious use of the killfile as I have they
might find roff quite a bit more pleasant.

Yeah, there's nothing quite like plucking your eyes out to make the world a
more attractive place.

Wolfgang

Well, that, or just quit being pusses...

You should definitely go with "that"......trust me.

THAT probably won't help,

It won't help you.

Hmm, you probably don't want to hear that I've set up a week long
canoe/fishing trip to Mongolia this June, then. ;-j

That is my dream trip. I win the lotto, I'm with ya.

It's cold as hell here in the NW and there isn't a thing to post about!
Da can't get a rise out of anyone on his Fly Names, Wolfie can't get a
flame war started with Ken, the expo sounds like a flop and it hasn't
even
started, and cabin fever is on the rise. It's just down right frinkin
boring
around roff....

Details man... Details....!

I have a bunch of neat $hit planned for June too! However, with tomorrows
forecast of morning lows below zero, it just seems like years away!

I'm not sure which Ken JT is referring to, but yes killfiles sure
do make this place more pleasant.

....it also has the added benefit of ticking poor little
petulant Wolfie off. Bet he can't even help himself
and replys to this message.
- Ken

P.S. Double score if he bites on the obvious spelling error. :-)

And that's in addition to the vastly more valuable job they do as
indicators.

And hell hath no fury like a Wolfie ticked.

Oh yeah? How much you wanna bet?

hey, louie, willi, big dale, waldo, le duc du chocolat, and other
ragged and sorry sonsabitches--where the **** are you?

I'll admit to being a ragged and sorry SOB - so even if I wasn't being
addressed, I'll fess up. I'm following in the footsteps of my mentor Opie
by taking 12 credits at UMass/Amherst in addition to my day job. Busy,
busy, busy. I'm planning on earning an MS in applied math in a couple of
years, or die trying (which is at least as likely an outcome). In my spare
time I'm working through the 160 beer list at my favorite beer dive. And by
the way, I found beer heaven last week: Moenchsambacher Weihnachtsbock.
Awesome, awesome stuff. If that was readily available, I would gladly give
up school, fishing, and many other things in order to imbibe beyond reason.

I've never been anyone's mentor before; however, I recommend that you take
less hours!

I couldn't imagine 12 credit hours and a full-time job.

Op --6 credit hours and regretting that decision. Though I'll likely do it
again next semester :~^ ( --
