Screw this wx. Down right depressing. I'm even thinking of taking my
fly rod to Chicago at the end of April.

End of April? bring it and plan on staying over the weekend.

No can do. Have an wedding to go to the day before I leave and have
to get straight back for an art show (the kid'll be showing her
stuff).
Tonight, the temp here will be -8 with -30 windchill. SCREW IT!!!

anything......must be something within a couple hours drive one way or
another that would be workable for what has gotten to be a sizeable
ROFFian contingent in the region. Besides, I'm sure your various
moving parts will thaw before any likely waters in this part of the
