Because the Natural Shad color also works great in gin clear water too. Some of us don't always have the option of going to the lake and checking out the conditions before we go to the lake, so we can't always be prepared for every circumstance. If I carried everything I owned everytime I went fishing it would be hard to fish for all of the bundles strapped to the decks. LOL.
