I have lost this stupid freaking bet more often than not and what
seems like year in and year friggin' out for the last decade or so.

don't fret, Ken.....wayno goes and loses his winnings to
me, and nothing actually ever changes handsg!
Tom
p.s. Maybe I should make a series of ill-advised wagers
with you, and this whole thing will be on the level!

Good thing you didn't bet anything valuable. ;-)

OK, the 2007 Illini are for real. Who knew. Besides the bookies,
I mean. I still find it hard to believe.

I'll say this... I can't remember the last time both Illinois AND
North Carolina both had wins like this on the same day. It has
certainly been since long before ROFF degenerated into the meaningless
little puddle of **** it is today.

And to think I was switching channels back and forth rooting for
*both* of them.

Is that anyway for a Mormon to talk?

Some of us see ROFF as a limitless pool of knowledge. It's all about
attitude, I guess?

See, I *knew* there was a reason I resigned my membership in that cult
but until now I wasn't sure why. Turns out it was because I wanted to
be able to say "****" without getting grief for it. Thanks for the
revelation ;)

Good point. But with stream levels as low as they are these days, can
you blame me?

Hell, cursin' and swearin' ain't even the fun part. I always
figured you'd loosen up quite nicely with a beer or six. ;-)
