Lips! I had a ball fishing for carp in the resevoir above the dam at
the Big Horn. Look for lips moving along the surface of the water.
Throw a big ugly surface fly in front of their path (Madam X), when
they take it hesitate before setting the hook. When you do, stand by
for some crazy action, like diving straight down to over 90 feet (just
into the backing) and then raising hell coming to the surface.
Largest one was a little over 10 pounds.
